Hey guys, I am new to the forums and have been wanting to come out there and ride my new bike and just get some ride time. I just cant find anything on practice times or on what days. I know yall have races out there every other weekend or something like that. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Practice is whenever the track owner isn't busy with his full time gig. Just have to keep checking the forums to see when it is posted. I also usually send out an email to all the members of this forum letting them know of races and practices.

No practice on the 22nd. We are racing on the 23rd though. Come out and try it. Not to technical and you get two quick practices before the races start in the morning.

Also do i have to be registered or anything to some organization to race? and do i have to have like an official number because i just got a used bike and it already has a number on it and i was just wondering how all the numbering and everything worked for race day.
I am just making sure i am correct on the sign up stuff. it is 20$ to enter race. it is 6$ to get in gate for race and practice. it is 10$ for an extra sign up for another race class.
Also is there food stands out there or is it bring your own stuff for race?

There is a concession stand that serves food. Whatever number that is on your bike will work. No need to join any organization for Burleson. Some of the other tracks that have AMA sanctioned races require you to be an AMA member. Right after practice is over the race order will be posted, then jsut show up on the line whenits your race. If you show up we usually park close to the concession stand and the porta-potties. Look for #42,19, 7X, 306 or 505 and stop by and say HI.

yea i made it out today, i placed fifth overall in the 125/250 beginner class. The first moto i was involved in the pile up in the first corner and so i didnt get a good start for the race. Second moto i came out of the first corner in 3rd and my clutch resivoir started to come loose and air got in and i lost my clutch so i was stuck in 4th gear the last 3 and a half laps. i stayed in and finished 5th. Overall with never have ridden the bike and first motorcross race ever i think i did ok. Got a trophy ;D. Definitely coming back out and racing again. So much fun.
Yea i looked for yall and couldnt find any of yalls numbers.

$15 per rider. That's all. A little different than race day. Spectators are free. ;D
