I've been out to BMX before (quite a few years ago). Continuing back problems and a few surgeries have kept me away, but now my kids are expressing interest in riding. I have two girls who will be turning 6 and 10 this summer, and a 11 year old boy. What CC bikes would put them in the correct classes for their age? Currently I have an old tired Yamaha PW50 for the 5 year old, but was planning on replacing it with a 70cc bike. Would that bump her in a class with much older kids? I need to figure out the bikes for the other kids as well. I have a 125cc four stroke Chinese (Axis) trail/pit bike - but I don't know if it would stand up to constant abuse (I can easily bottom the forks when I try to ride it hard - though I weigh close to 230 lbs). I was planning on picking up some Honda CRFs of various sizes for them until they get more comfortable riding...
Just curious for their age range, what size engines would put them in the most appropriate classes for their age range (for BMX and other area tracks). They are all complete novices and have never ridden on a track before.
Thanks!

The pw50 only had=s the 50 class to ride in. The 70 would probably race in the 65cc class. Would really need to check with chester on the 125 cc bike as I'm not sure where he would recommend. Could ride it in the pitbike class
